It is very difficult to find the respective device driver for ARRIS Cable Modem-related hardware because the information and support is hard to find on ARRIS's site. The process of upgrading the ARRIS Cable Modem's device drivers, even for an experienced computer user, can still take long periods of time and become repetitive to execute periodically. Incorrect hardware drivers can lead to more serious issues than just a faulty installation.
It is generally advised to use a driver software as updates can be time consuming and complex. Driver update utilities ensure you have correct drivers that are compatible with your hardware, it also guarantees that there is a backup of current drivers before any software/hardware changes are made. With driver backup, you can rollback any driver's software to an earlier version if there is a malfunction.

I have a new Arris G34 modem/router. It has connected flawlessly with router, fire sticks IPhone, Samsung 22, ring equipment, etc. I cannot connect my HP Officejet 8600 plus, either using wireless through the modem or direct wireless. I did print using the mobile hot spot on my phone. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

This week Comcast announced a 10-year title sponsorship with the NASCAR Nationwide series. And other distributors, including Time Warner Cable and Charter, have sponsored cars and drivers in the past.
Last month, Arris announced that it will sponsor drivers Carl Edwards and Daniel Suarez of Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) in 2015, who will compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series, respectively. Arris will also support a diversity initiative launched by JGR and Escuderia TELMEX, both significant global customers of the tech vendor, which will develop Mexican and Latin American drivers in the NASCAR Toyota Series in Mexico and other JGR racing series.
Time Warner recently installed an Arris mode,/router and now I cannot print wirelessly to my HP printer from my iphone, ipad or macbook pro. I could do this when I used a Belkin modem with the Arris router. Any suggestions?
Something you might check is the Bonjour service in the router. If the router doesn't support Bonjour services, you will not be able to use it to print from any apple device via AirPrint. You can still print from a Mac PC if the drivers are installed, but you will not be able to print from any iOS device. You can use the app below to test the network to see if it will alow Bonjour services. Let me know what you find.
Thanks. My computer would print, but very very slowly. I finallly got a Time Warner tech person who admitted that the Arris does not support Bonjour. They installed a Motorola modem on top of the arris router and it works fine with great signal strength.
I just bought a new laptop today here in Chile, South America. It's a Dell Inspiron N4050, running Windows 7 Home Basic, Service Pack 1. I haven't been able to connect to the internet via an ethernet cable nor wirelessly. The wireless indicator is on (duh!) and the ethernet cable works with a PC sitting next to the laptop. I have a ARRIS modem (yes, the third world) and it works fine wirelessly with other devices here such as phones and laptops. When I plug in the ethernet cable it tells me that it can't identify the network. I do see all the wireless connections but it's the same, unable to identify network. I've tired all sorts of things, having studied computer science myself I'm not a total beginner, but the OS is in Spanish so it's really hard to make sense of things. If I can't fix this soon I will be forced to reformat the computer. The pros of doing that is that I will get the OS in English and lose all the rubbish Dell pre-installs on their products. The setback is that I won't have the drivers installed for the NIC and other things (although they should be on the optical disc that came with the notebook). Perhaps the problem is the modem, maybe I need a driver for it. Somehow I don't think that is the case because I brough my own hard drive from my country of origin and I put it inside the PC and it connected instantly with the internet via the modem. Any thoughts?
I didn't do anything with the modem because it was already set up and running fine with other devices, wired and wirelessly. It's not even about the wireless more than the fact that I can't even connect via ethernet. The computer just refuses to recognise the network. It's able to find all the wireless networks too but it won't recognise any of them once I choose to connect with them. Another thing is that the modem has a battery built inside of it so that even if I unplug the power source it's still on, for some minutes or hours, so I don't really know how to turn it off.
I reformatted the computer with Windows 7 Ultimate just now - I needed to change it from Spanish to English anyway. I installed the necessary drivers from the Dell disc that came with the laptop but for some reason they didn't include a driver for wireless access. That's alright though since I prefer fixing it via ethernet. I can download all the other drivers once I can connect with the modem via the ethernet. As before, it is unable to identify the network. I have tried to access the router on other working devices via a web browser using the default gateway but it always times out. Maybe the modem doesn't have a user interface (HTTP server) or something.
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
The brand of modem is Arris TM822 and provider is Optimum. It's my modem. This started when was trying to use a cellular connection for Internet and placed the router in bridge mode. It's been many factory settings return since then. 2ff7e9595c
